Company Environmental Policy
Celtic Energy will:
- balance the need to achieve commercial aims with the
need to minimise the effect of its activities on the environment;
- comply with and review performance against relevant statutory
and regulatory requirements;
- where appropriate, adopt environmental impact assessment
as an integral part of the process of project appraisal
and planning;
- manage land holdings with due regard to the environment
and wherever practicable, identify and maintain areas of
natural habitat;
- establish and enforce contractual obligations to achieve
effective environmental management amongst our contractors;
- consider environmental issues in purchasing, supply and
management of materials and equipment;
- develop environmental awareness and responsibility amongst
employees;
- include an environmental performance statement in the
company's annual report.
